2014-15 Pitching Clinic Registration- Now Open
Registration for our Winter Pitching Clinic is now open. The West Linn Softball Association is excited to offer the pitching instruction of Sue Oran again in 2014!
Sue Oran is one of the premier pitching instructors in the Northwest. She is the founder of Strictly Sports Productions (www.strictlysportsproductions.com), a training clinic specializing in equipping pitchers and athletes toward success. Sue was an accomplished pitcher at the highest level but loves working with all ages and all stages of experience. Her trained eye and focus on fundamentals, proper technique, and work ethic will help young pitchers at any level. Girls just beginning their pitching career would benefit greatly by learning good habits from an expert instructor.
Cost: $150.00 for registration prior to October 20th. $175.00 on or after October 20th. Payment by Credit/Debit cards online will only be accepted. No check payments.
Age Groups: The clinic is open to girls 3rd grade and older who are interested in pitching in 2015. Girls will be grouped by age and experience levels. Space for the clinic is limited - in the case of too many registrants, priority will be given to WLSA players.
Dates: The sessions will be one hour long at 1:00, 2:00, or 3:00 p.m., on Sunday afternoons at the West Linn HS gym. The dates are November 2, 16, 30, December 7, 14, January 4, 11, 18, 25. Exact times for each player will be determined based on the age mix after registration closes.
2104 Summer Skills Clinic is Now Open For Registration
Registration is now open for the annual Summer Softball Clinic. This clinic is a great way for the girls to build on the skills they learned this spring, continue that momentum into fall ball, and have lots of fun as well! It will be led by West Linn High School's head coach, Scott Smith, along with his assistant coaches and returning varsity players.
Dates: Saturday & Sunday, August 23 & 24, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm each day
Ages: Grades 1 through 8
Location: Rosemont Ridge Softball Complex
The clinic will focus on the fundamentals of fielding, throwing, bunting, hitting, base running and sliding. Athletes should bring a glove, bat, and plenty of water (plan on warmer weather!). Lunch will be provided on the last day of the clinic.
All players and their parents are required to sign a "Code of Conduct" form prior to participating in softball.
West Linn players and families have an excellent reputation as being supportive, respectful and well behaved.
By signing the code of conduct agreement each player and their family agrees to abide by this code and to continue the tradition of great sportsmanship from West Linn families.
After signing your form, give it to your daughters coach.
